A low, broad-shouldered vessel in morado with gold rays at the neck and a stepped key around the belly.
Morado runs from deep purple-brown to warm russet depending on where the light falls, and the form is turned wide and low to give that figure as much surface as possible. A collar rises from the shoulder to a thick rolled rim.
Pale gold points radiate down from the neck like a sun, and a second gold course steps around the widest point of the body. The name nods to Sikyatki pottery, one of the traditions this shape is drawn from.
Every piece here was cut, glued and turned by the same pair of hands.
