Harmonic Interval
A tall shouldered vase banded at its widest point with a chevron course in black, cream, red and gold.
Pale maple makes up the ground here, which is unusual in this work and makes the bowl read much lighter than the rest of the group. The rim and foot are capped in dark open-grained hardwood.
Two crenellated courses cross the form, one just under the rim and one around the belly, stepping up and down between maple, dark brown and russet. The same figure carries over the rim and down the inside.
